WHAT TO EXPECT:

• Following filling out our consultation form you will be holding your intention for sitting with Kambo in your mind. What are you releasing and what are you calling in?

• We begin with a sacred smoke cleansing ritual followed by a grounding meditation to anchor you into your body in preparation for receiving the medicines.

• Rapé medicinal snuff is served to begin the cleansing process and to further ground you. This master plant teacher works synergistically with Kambo cleansing a huge amount of toxins, opening up and resetting your energy centres, anchoring in your ceremony intentions and assisting with deeper meditation. Served by blowing the medicine into the nose it is absorbed by the mucous membranes and passes into the bloodstream. You may feel an intense heat in the head/face for around 30 seconds to 1 minute.

• Together we intuitively choose where and how many gateways are placed on your body to receive kambo medicine. These are made by using a hot incense stick to superficially burn the skin creating a direct gateway for the medicine to enter your lymphatic system. You will be encouraged to drink some water and intuitively guided we begin to apply the medicine slowly, one dot at a time.

• You may have had other experiences with Kambo medicine where all dots are applied at once, this is not our style of serving. We offer a slow and informed approach so that we do not overwhelm the nervous system any further.

• This slow and soft approach is designed to allow you to journey deeply without being rushed or forced into the process. The medicine is hyper intelligent and even with this approach you will experience its profound effects after only one dot being placed.

• As the medicine begins to work you may feel a quickening of your heart rate and a warm flush throughout the body. You may also feel nausea and discomfort as the medicine works to shift all that needs to move. These feelings are temporary and the key is to surrender fully to all that comes up for you. Some also experience a deep meditative state.

• Your journey with Kambo lasts approximately 20 minutes to 1 hour.

• Along with these effects you may also experience a physical, emotional and/or energetic purge. This is kambo moving energy & toxins for the body to process and eliminate.

• During your journey you will also experience the therapeutic benefits of sound therapy as we use shamanic instruments to assist with the removal of discordant energies.

• Once the medicine has been removed and your journey comes to a close you may rest and enjoy a kambo nap. As you rest we will use crystal bowl sound therapy and channel hands on or off energy healing.

• After your rest Sananga eye medicine is offered then a second serving of Rapé helping you with grounding and transmuting any residual lower energies.

• A sense of calmness, clarity and lightness can be felt immediately following your journey which can last for many weeks. The benefits of the medicine have a cumulative effect with many reporting pain relief, increased self awareness and much, much more.

• To close the ceremony plant based snacks and warming tea will be served along with the space to share your experience.

You may experience some of these temporary physical, energetic and emotional symptoms as the medicine works through your body rapidly moving/removing energetic blockages:

• Purging (upper/ lower intestine purges)

• Crying

• Laughing

• Increased heart rate

• Feeling warm/cold

• Swelling of the face or joints

• Clamping of the hands

• Fainting

Remember that these symptoms are temporary. It is your bodies way of moving energy and eliminating toxins. They manifest differently in every body as we work through our individual energetic blockages, no two journeys are the same.
